PAF to enhance day and night aerial patrol on western border: Air Chief
QUETTA, FEB 28 (DNA) – Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman says the PAF ‘s resolve to defend the motherland against any aerial aggression will remain unshakable.
He was addressing a ceremony to mark the raising of a new multirole squadron, equipped with JF-17 Thunder at PAF Base Samungli in Quetta today.
The Air Chief said we understand the kind of conspiracies being hatched by the enemies of Pakistan but our resolve is very firm and response very clear.
He said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will turn not only the history and face of Balochistan but the entire country.
Sohail Aman said the new No. 28 Multirole Squadron, equipped with JF-17, has the responsibility to provide day and night aerial defence of the country especially along the western borders.
He expressed the confidence that No 28 Squadron would create the desired strategic balance in a most befitting manner.
The Air Chief awarded the squadron emblem to Wing Commander Amir Imran Cheema, Officer Commanding No 28 Multirole Squadron.
