National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has revised its policy to facilitate the overseas Pakistanis in getting DUP clearance. Now Overseas Pakistanis can apply online to get DUP clearance.

NADRA has been facing issues related to DUP for quite some time. A citizen is marked as DUP in the NADRA database if the overseas Pakistani has multiple identity cards with different particulars.

Now NADRA is offering online applications to facilitate overseas Pakistanis who face similar issues.

The Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat has notified all the centers abroad who deal with the application process of issuing identity cards to display clear instructions and guidelines to the citizens facing this problem, added Hafiz Ahsaan Khokhar, senior adviser law and grievance commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis.
