OSCE secretary general meets Kyrgyz, Tajik FMs
BAKU, DEC 08 (DNA) – OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger has today met foreign ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in Vienna.
During the meeting between Kyrgyz FM Erlan Abdyldaev and Secretary General Greminger, the sides agreed that OSCE needs to be responsive to priorities of host countries.
“I support Kyrgyzstan’s human-centered sustainable development strategy,” Greminger said in a tweet after the meeting.
In another tweet, Secretary General Greminger said he and Tajik FM Sirodjidin Aslov agreed to intensify OSCE-Tajikistan cooperation in fighting terrorism and violent radicalization.
“This supports OSCE regional strategy for combating transnational threats in Central Asia,” said Thomas Greminger.
