Omar Ayub to attend energy moot in Tashkent
ISLAMABAD, SEPT 13 (DNA) – Omar Ayub Khan, Federal Minister for Energy of Islamic Republic of Pakistan is visiting Uzbekistan to take part in the First Central Asian Regional Corporation program’s first Energy Ministers Dialogue to be held in Tashkent on September 20-21, 2019.
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Furqat Sidikov met with the minister on Friday and extended him the invitation, which the minister accepted graciously.
Pakistan and Uzbekistan enjoy cordial relations. Both sides are willing to cooperate in energy sector as well.
The minister is likely to meet with senior officials in the Uzbek government during his visit and explore various avenues of enhanced cooperation.=DNA
