OGRA conducts public hearing on SSGCL petition

ISLAMABAD, MAY 18: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) conducted public hearing on the SSGCL’s petition for Determination of its Estimated Revenue Requirement / prescribed price for FY 2026-27. The petitioner in its revised petition dated 28-04-2026 has projected aggregate Average Prescribed Price at Rs. 6,825.30 per MMBTU including interest on GDS receivable (Rs. 1,721.47/MMBTU) & previous year shortfall up to FY 2024-25 (Rs. 2,920.46/MMBTU) for indigenous natural gas business. The petitioner has also projected Rs. 199.03/MMBTU w.r.t RLNG cost of supply for FY 2026-27.
The public hearing was attended by all stakeholders including general public to pass their views/comments for final decision by the Authority. The final decision shall be issued by the Authority in due course of time.
