Offshore companies are not illegal: Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD, 22 MAY, (DNA) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Sunday said that setting up offshore companies is not illegal.
He was addressing a function of Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan in Islamabad
He also said that notification for parliamentary committee which will decide Terms of References (ToRs) for Panama Leaks probe will be issued in two days.
International financial institutions have acknowledged the improvement in Pakistan’s economy, Dar added.
He said all economic indicators are positive as a result of prudent policies being pursued by the Government.
Finance Minister said the Government has brought budget deficit from 8.8 percent to 4.3 percent. =DNA
