NSC meeting over Indian ceasefire violation concludes
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – The National Security Committee (NSC) on Sunday reviewed situation after the Indian Army used cluster ammunition to target the civilian population across the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) in violation of the Geneva Convention and international law.
The meeting presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan discussed matters related to national security.
Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, CJSC, Naval Chief, Air Chief, head of the Inter-Services Intelligence and others are present in the meeting.
Other attendees include the prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, federal minister for Kashmir affairs and PM Imran’s special assistant on information.
