NRO case: SC summons details of Musharraf, Zardari’s overseas assets

ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday has summoned details of former presidents Pervez Musharraf and Asif Ali Zaradri’s overseas assets in National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) case.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar conducted hearing against those who took benefit from NRO.
During the proceedings, the court has also directed former Attorney General Malik Qayyum to submit his assets and offshore companies’ details.
Meanwhile, Musharraf’s lawyer Akhtar Shah asked to give two-week extension so that he can file his reply.
The court has adjourned hearing of the case till August 7.
