National songs competition arranged at PAC
RAWALPINDI, AUG 9 /DNA/ – Under the auspices of Punjab Arts Council, national songs competition was organized in connection with Independence Day celebrations in which music class students participated here on Monday. The special guest of the competition was Naheed Manzoor. Dozens of young singers took part in the competitions.
Naheed Manzoor said that Pakistan is the fruit of the sacrifices of our forefathers, which we all have to make a great nation together. As we celebrate Independence Day, we must also pay tribute to the eternal sacrifices of our forefathers.
She further said that the young generation of Pakistan is very creative which is making a name for itself in other fields besides education. Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmed said that the children have expressed their immense love for Pakistan through popular songs.
If there is Pakistan then we are, our identity is from Pakistan. Young people need to put the positive face of Pakistan in front of the world. At the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed to the winners.=DNA
