NAP: FM Qureshi ready to brief opposition in Shehbaz Sharif’s chamber
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday directed Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to remove the reservations of the opposition on the National Action Plan (NAP).
The foreign minister was directed by the premier to consult the opposition. It has been learnt that Shah Mehmood Qureshi is willing to brief the opposition in Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif’s chamber as well as in the parliament regarding the NAP.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi was further told by the prime minister to move forward the dialogues on military courts with the opposition.
It is worth mentioning here that the briefing, scheduled for today in the Foreign Office (FO), had been cancelled after Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) boycotted the session on Wednesday.
