Nadra makes photos mandatory on B-forms for children aged 3 to 10
ISLAMABAD, DEC 14 – Nadra has introduced an important measure to further strengthen the security of citizens’ family trees.
Nadra has made it mandatory to include photographs of children aged 3 to 10 years on the B-Form. Fingerprints of children aged 10 to 18 years will also be collected.
However, photographs will not be required on the B-Form for children up to 3 years of age.
According to Nadra, the birth of a child must be registered with the Union Council within one month. The objective of this step is to prevent the inclusion of any unrelated person in the family tree.
