ISLAMABAD, MAR 29 (DNA) – NAB is sticking to its policy of ‘Accountability for All’ as country’s progress and prosperity lies in eliminating the corruption, which is a cancer plaguing the country.

Listening public complaints in ‘khulli ketchri’, Chairman Nab Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that nab is disposing of the complaint verification, inquiries, investigation on merit and in accordance with the law.

Chairman Nab Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Thursday listened to public’s complaints with patience and directed the concerned officers of NAB to conduct probe of All complaints submitted by complainants transparently on merit as per law.

He said country has been indebted to a whopping $ 84 billion foreign debt but alas nobody knows where such a huge amount had been spent.

Elimination of corruption is not only the responsibility of NAB but each member of society should contribute in eliminating the menace.

Each person should avoid corruption but play his active in checking the corruption from his surrounding also.

NAB has established forensic lab, which helped improving the standards of investigations and inquiries being conducted by NAB.

He said NAB has deposited a sum of Rs 289 billion in national exchequer after recovering from the corrupt. This has been made possible due to earnest efforts of NAB officers, who consider elimination of

corruption as their national, moral and legal responsibility. A major chunk of the recovered amount was distributed among the effectees of the corrupt  who were looted by showing them rosy picture and dreams which proved wrong and corrupt looted money of innocent people.

 The excellent performance of NAB has been lauded by leading foreign and local organizations including Transparency International Burlen, Germany, World Economic Forum and PILDAT in their reports which are an honor for the country due to NAB efforts.

The complainant lauded the serious efforts of Chairman NAB Honorable Justice Javed Iqbal in

elimination of corruption across the board and said that the whole nation has trust on NAB’s working under the chairmanship of Justice Javed Iqbal. The immaculate past record of Justice Javed and his policy of Accountability for All has greatly in elimination of corruption from the society.=DNA
