NAB opens inquiry against Federal Minister Akram Khan Durrani

ISLAMABAD, FEB 19 (DNA) – Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal has directed inquiry against federal minister for housing and JUI-F leader Akram Khan Durrani for misusing his powers and illegal allotments of plots.
According to reports, Durrani has been accused of illegal allotment of plots in I-12 and I-16 sectors of Islamabad. Meanwhile, the NAB has decided to appeal in Supreme Court against Islamabad high court’s decision regarding bail of the PML-N leader Capt Safdar.
The IHC had rejected the NAB plea against accountability court’s decision of accepting bail application of Safdar.
