NAB chief orders inquiry into mal-functioning of surveillance cameras
ISLAMABAD Nov 15 (DNA) -:Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice ® Javed Iqbal on Thursday directed complaint verification of non functioning of 600 surveillance cameras of safe city from out of a total of 1800 cameras installed in the federal capital.
Taking notice of mal-functioning of surveillance cameras, he directed DG NAB Rawalpindi to submit details of expenditures incurred on the project and details of start of the project and reasons that why these cameras are not functioning.
The Chairman also directed the DG to investigate reasons of failure of the project and fix responsibility so that the lives of federal capital inhabitants could be made safer.
The responsible of failure of safe city project could also be identified.=DNA
