NAB chairman pressurised to drop important references: sources
ISLAMABAD (DNA News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal was pressurized to drop important references, Dunya News reported Friday.
According to Dunya News, the anti-graft watchdog was pressurized to drop the concerned references, however, he said that he was not afraid of anyone except Allah almighty and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Sources further said that Justice (r) Javed Iqbal didn’t bother about the pressure and continued performing his duties. Following his rejection of pressure, some edited pictures were shared on social media.
Sources further added that the anti-graft agency chairman refused to comment on the issue and denied authenticity of the information.
