NAB chairman bans officials’ interaction with media
ISLAMABAD Nov 12 (DNA)- Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice Javed Iqbal has imposed ban on all directors generals (DGs) directors and other senior officers of NAB to interview to print and electronic media.
He said that only spokesman NAB will be authorised to have official point of view of NAB about any reference.
He said that he respects all parliamentarians. He had already sought the record of DG NAB Lahore’s media interview from PEMRA. The interviews will be examined as per laws.He said that media to avoid speculations on Nab’s ongoing inquiries, investigations and references.
The chairman NAB was briefed in detail about the status of mega corruption cases under process in NAB Lahore.
The briefing will continue on tomorrow on Wednesday, Nov 13, 2018. NAB not only considers eradication of corruption as its top most priority but also doing sincere efforts to nab the corrupt elements and eradication of corruption without any discrimination so that the looted money could be recovered and deposited in the national exchequer.
