ISLAMABAD, AUG 06 (DNA) – Leader of Opposition in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said that innocent Kashmiris were being massacred by the Indian occupation forces.

Addressing the joint session of the parliament on Tuesday, he said that we have two ways, either we bow down or stand firm against Indian aggression, adding that we are neither Palestine nor we would let anyone become Israel in the region.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is of Kashmiris and Kashmiris are of Pakistan, adding that India is committing genocide in occupied Kashmir. “Modi quietly prepared for what happened in Kashmir,” he added.

The opposition leader went on to say that the Indian government had not only deprived the Kashmiris of their rights but also challenged the honour of Pakistan and slapped the United Nations.

The PML-N president said, “Even after the passage of 24 hours the government had not presented its policy and strategy to counter the assault by Modi.”

He further asked why China, Saudi Arabia and UAE had not said anything on Kashmir, terming it isolation.

“After what has happened, instead of traditional condemnation resolutions, we need to take concrete steps, he said and added we have rendered sacrifices and are not afraid of anyone.=DNA
