ISLAMABAD, FEB 04 (DNA) – PML- Q Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Syed has left PML Q and sent his resignationto party President Ch. Shujaat Hussain. He has joined PML N.

According to details Mushahid Hussain for quite some time had distanced himself from the party affairs therefore it was expected that he will soon call it a day.

Source believe Mushahid Hussain due to his close links with the CPEC projects has acquired special importance and role. Chinese trust Mushahid Hussain a lot when it comes to execution/policy making with regard to CPEC and other related projects.

Earlier Mushahid Hussain also met with PML N President Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umra and it is expected that Mr. Mushahid shall again become Senator from PML N platform. In March 52 Senators are retiring and Mushahid Hussain is one of them.

According to sources the Chinese government has nominated three focal persons in the South Asia region for monitoring of CPEC relations projects and policy making issues and Mushahid Hussain Syed is one of them.
