ISLAMABAD: Distinguished columnist, motivational speaker and socio-economic analyst Dr. Murtaza Mughal has been appointed as Chief Advisor of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Shadbad, a new party focusing on health, education, justice and employment.

The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Shadbad Dr. Hanif Mughal has issued a notification in this regard.

Speaking at the occasion Dr. Hanif Mughal said that it would be a great pleasure to have a vibrant person like Dr. Murtaza Mughal onboard.

He said that Dr. Mughal is already involved in dozens of ventures including Pakistan Economy Watch, Baidari-e-Fikar Forum, RDF, Al-Shifa Trust, Word Columnist Club, Nazaria Pakistan School and a free clinic and his services will be an asset to us.

We hope that Dr. Mughal will spare some time out of his busy schedule to give a boost to our welfare initiatives, he added.

Dr. Murtaza Mughal said that we have faith in humanity and we must inspire others to serve humanity.

He said that social service and charity is a noble cause and living for others is the best of causes.

We seek happiness and satisfaction by helping others which should be without biases of religion, caste and creed, he added.

Social services should be intended to aid disadvantaged, vulnerable, and distressed individuals and families. The basic concerns of welfare must be poverty, disability, and disease.

Without social services, families, children, and individuals needing help in achieving basic living will not be able to survive. Social services help all those in need including families living in poverty, children, or women who are suffering, he said.

He noted that the number of families and individuals living in poverty has increased in recent years as life is becoming more expensive.

He thanked the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Shadbad for appointing him to the important post and assured that he will try his best toi promote the cause of the party.
