Murtaza Javed Abbasi hostes dinner for Chinese delegation
ISLAMABAD, SEPT 20 (DNA) – The Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi hosted a dinner in honour of Chinese Delegation from Xinjian Province.
Talking to the Delegation the Deputy Speaker has said that Pakistan values high its relations with China and desired to further solidify its deep rooted strategic partnership of cooperation for mutual benefit of both the countries.
He said that Pakistan appreciate the strong support and selfless assistance from the Chinese Government and people for its economic and social development.
Appreciating the Chinese Leadership commitment for implementation of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Project (CPEC) the Deputy Speaker said that this project will prove a game changer and it would create massive economic activities in the region resulting in progress and prosperity for the people of both the countries.
He said that pragmatic cooperation between both the countries could bring more tangible benefits to Pakistan and China.
He thanked the Chinese Government for assistance to set up Solar Power Project at Parliament House. He said that Solar Power Project gifted by the Chinese Government for the Parliament of Pakistan is a symbolic of friendship between the two countries.
He also appreciated plan for promoting cooperation and partnership between Xinjian Province and Gilgit-Baltistan in various fields, installation of solar lamps in Hazara Division and timely assistance to overcome the energy shortage in Pakistan.
The Head of the Chinese Delegation thanked the Deputy Speaker for hosting a dinner in the honour of his delegation and termed CPEC project is the win-win opportunities for the both the countries.
