ISLAMABAD, Jan 5 (APP/DNA): A vehicle associated with a private cement factory was damaged in a powerful IED attack in Lakki Marwat, leaving multiple people injured.  

            According to police, the vehicle was traveling from Begu Khel to Lakki Marwat when the explosion occurred. The injured, including women, were taken to a nearby hospital, with several reported in critical condition, local media channels reported.

         The medical superintendent at the Civil Hospital had confirmed that ten people were admitted and said an emergency had been declared to handle the situation.

         Security forces have launched an investigation to determine the cause and tightened security in the surrounding areas.
