MQM-P to raise protest against census results in Liaquatabad today
KARACHI, NOV 05 (DNA) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) is all set to raise protest against the results of recently held census in Karachi’s Liaquatabad on Sunday in a political rally, and preparations have been finalized in this regard.
MQM-P Chief Dr Farooq Sattar claimed that it will be the last night of the politics of their opponents who shed crocodile tears. While rejecting the census result, he said the party will demonstrate the real numbers in the rally today which were reduced in the counting.
Farooq Sattar maintained that there will be no need for the general elections in 2018 after today’s gathering.
On the other hand, MQM-P leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan is trying to make alliance with other political parties. He said if the stance of other parties on unfair census is similar to ours, then we should come on the same page keeping the differences aside.
Therefore MQM, which was once known for its discipline, is apparently looking dispersed now as MQM-P. It will be a big challenge for the party to gather people in large numbers, however, MQM-P chief is hopeful that the people of Karachi will not let him down.
