Modernization of agricultural sector among top priorities of Govt: PM
Islamabad : Prime Minister Imran Khan said modernization of agricultural sector and prosperity of farmers are among top priorities of the government.
Addressing a meeting in connection with improvement of agriculture sector in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said for the first time in the country, a comprehensive strategy has been devised for betterment in agriculture sector.
He said Agri-Dashboard will be helpful for timely decision making in this regard.
The Prime Minister said agricultural transformation plan will be the first step towards food self-sufficiency.
The meeting was apprised of the progress in the functions of Dashboard and Agricultural Transformation Plan of the Food Security.
