Misconduct with police lands PTI Tehsil Chairman’s brother in trouble
PESHAWAR, OCT 19 (APP/DNA): The brother of a PTI Tehsil Chairman found himself in trouble after misbehaving at a police checkpost in Peshawar.
According to police on Sunday, the brother of the PTI Tehsil Chairman of Mathra, identified as Farman, arrived at the police post to secure the release of an accused individual.
During the encounter, Farman allegedly broke a portion of the wall at the checkpost and used abusive language against police personnel.
A video of the incident went viral on social media, prompting police to register a case against him for interfering in official duties and misconduct.
The Mathra Police later detained the local chairman’s brother and gave him what they described as a “tour” of the lockup.
