Rawalpindi, 22 March 2019: Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) at GHQ, today.
During the meeting matters of mutual interest, regional security and bilateral defence cooperation came under discussion. The Visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace and stability.
Earlier on arrival at GHQ, the Minister of Defence laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented the guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
