Mehdi Honardoost new Iranian ambassador to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, DEC 31 (DNA) -Mehdi Honardoost, ambassador designate of the Islamic republic of Iran to Pakistan to presented his credentials to . Mamnon Hussain, president of Pakistan on December 31,2015.He by having a experience of three decades in the ministry of foreign affairs of the the Islamic republic of Iran has proceeded to Pakistan to further enhance the ties between two neighboring countries. Boosting up of the level of cooperation in the field of energy especially IP gas pipeline, export of electricity to Pakistan, enhancing of bilateral trade level, and regional cooperation are his working priorities.
Mr. Honardoost earlier has served as ambassador of the Islamic republic of Iran to Greece, deputy head of mission at embassy of Iran in China and Consul General in Mumbai, India. Before his designation as ambassador of the Islamic republic of Iran to Pakistan. He has held the position of Deputy Directorate of West Europe in in the ministry of foreign affairs of the Islamic republic of Iran.=DNA
