MD Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal pays tribute to minorities

ATTOCK: Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Amir Fida Paracha has
said that all citizens living in the country are equally entitled to
the fruits of the state and Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s
Pakistan has to be a safe country for minorities. The 1973
Constitution guarantees equal rights to minorities in Pakistan.
Minorities played a special role in the establishment of Pakistan and
their sacrifices cannot be forgotten. He said Islam lays special
emphasis on equal and just treatment of the disadvantaged and the
minorities.
MD (PBM) Fida Baracha has acknowledged the role played by minorities
in the development of country. He expressed these views while
addressing by the Sikh community organized a function at Gurdwara
Panja Sahib at Hasan Abdal in attock to pay homage to the services and
sacrifices rendered by the religious minorities for the country in
connection with the National Minorities Day. On this occasion, Sardar
Ravinder Singh Jaggi Divisional vice president of minorities wing PPP,
District President of People’s Party Sardar Ashar Hayat Khan,
Provincial Assembly candidate Sardar Zulfiqar Hayat Khan, Chaudhry
Iftikhar, Sardar Satnam Singh, Pal Gul, Sardar Ondar Singh, Jabran
Masih and others were also present.
Amir Fida Paracha speaking on this occasion said that People’s Party
has always talked about giving equal rights to the people living in
this country. Every entitled person can get medical treatment up to
One Million per year from Pakistan Baitul Mal without any
discrimination. While in the field of education, children are also
being given education scholarships up to one lakh rupees per year he
added.
Zulfiqar Hayat Khan, PPP leader speaking on this occasion said that
the minorities in the country enjoy all political, economic and social
rights guaranteed by the Constitution of Pakistan. Our religion
emphatically advocate for the protection of minority rights and
equality among all people, fostering a spirit of harmony and unity
within our diverse society. Pakistan was the first country in the
world to dedicate a part of the national flag to assure minorities of
their future rights he added.
District President PPP Sardar Asher Hayat speaking on the occasion
said that our Constitution guarantees the provision of social,
political, religious and economic rights to all citizens without any
discrimination of caste, creed and color. Minorities are provided with
equal rights to education, jobs and business opportunities in the
country. The Sikh and Christian community has made tremendous
contributions in the education and others fields. PPP is committed to
bringing all citizens on one platform. .
Speaking on this occasion, Sardar Ravinder Singh Jaggi, Divisional
Vice President of PPP Minority Wing, emphasized on the implementation
of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s principles of tolerance and
religious freedom. He said Minorities Day was an opportunity that
reminds to reaffirm solidarity for the betterment of humanity and for
a prosperous Pakistan.
On this occasion a cake was cut to celebrate the Independence Day.
