Massive protest to be carried out in support of Kashmir’s freedom movement in London today
LONDON (DNA) – A massive demonstration in support of Kashmiris’ freedom movement from Indian occupation is planned to be held today in London.
To express support and solidarity with oppressed people of Kashmir, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan and former AJK premier Barrister Sultan Mehmood will participate in the demonstration.
Meanwhile, organisers have revealed that permission has not been granted to carry out the demonstration from Hyde Park, London.
However, the rally will be held from Parliament Square to the Indian High Commission where a strong protest will be staged against Modi-led Hindu nationalist government for committing gross violations of human rights in occupied Kashmir.
The rally, in which thousands of people from across Britain are expected to join, will also pass through Trafalgar Square and from the front of Prime Minister’s residence.
