Malik rejects former British diplomat claims
ISLAMABAD, 14 APR, (DNA) – Senator Rehman Malik, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader, Thursday rejected the allegations leveled against him by former British diplomat Shehryar Niazi as ‘lies’.
His statement comes after Niazi claimed that the former interior minister was briefed by British official about Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) links with Indian spy agency RAW.
Rejecting the accusations while talking to media, Malik dubbed the former British diplomat as “liar”.
The former interior minister said that he has written a letter to British home ministry in this regard.
The letter, Malik said, contended that he was never briefed by the British official on MQM’s alleged connections with RAW.
He said that he doesn’t know as to who is signaling the former British diplomat to level such accusations against him. =DNA
