Maldives election: Ibrahim Mohamed wins presidential election
MALE, (DNA) – In Maldives, united opposition front candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has won presidential election.
According to unofficial results, with 437 out of 472 ballot boxes counted so far, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih holds an unbeatable lead over the incumbent president Abdulla Yameen.
However, the national electoral commission has not yet announced the results.
Ibrahim Mohamed Solih says that he has won by a sixteen percent margin over Yameen, with ninety two percent of votes counted.
