ISLAMABAD, JUN 16 /DNA/ – The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, Dato Azhar bin Mazlan, has lauded Pakistan’s leadership for its constructive role in defusing tensions between the United States and Iran. He stated that Pakistan’s efforts have been instrumental in ensuring peace not only in the region but also beyond.

Speaking at a luncheon hosted for media representatives and friends of Malaysia, Dato Azhar read out a message from his government commending Pakistan’s contribution to regional stability. He emphasized that the Pakistani leadership deserves recognition for its diplomatic initiatives aimed at preventing escalation and fostering dialogue.

The High Commissioner also highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Malaysia and Pakistan, vowing to take them to new heights through enhanced cooperation in trade, culture, and people-to-people exchanges. A short documentary showcasing Malaysia’s friendship with Pakistan was screened during the event, further underscoring the warmth between the two nations.
