Tashkent, Uzbekistan – A government resolution “On the organization of the activities of the French Cultural Center under the Ministry of Culture” was adopted.

The resolution defines the main tasks of the French Cultural Center.

One of them is to promote the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian ties with the French Republic, to assist in the study of the French language, culture and history of the French Republic.

According to the resolution, the director of the Center is appointed and dismissed by the Minister of Culture.

Also, the resolution approved the charter of the Center.

According to the Charter, the Center performs a number of functions to fulfill its assigned tasks.

In particular, the Center on its basis organizes specialized educational programs, courses and master classes, organizes internships for specialists from both countries.
