London flats: NAB summons Sharif family’s TV interviews record
ISLAMABAD, DEC 22 (DNA) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned record of ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and sons Hassan and Hussain Nawaz’s interviews on television channels from Press Information Department.
The bureau has also demanded to provide copy of Nawaz Sharif’s National Assembly speech till December 26.
The request has been made following probe against the former PM and his family regarding Avenfield Properties in London.
Earlier, accountability court recorded the statement of prosecution witnesses Yasir Bashir in Azizia Steel Mills reference and Shakil Anjum Nagra statement in Avenfield properties references against the Sharif family.
Witness Yasir Shabir said that Rs 5.71 crore was transferred to Maryam Nawaz’s account from Hill Metal Company, after which the court sought transaction vouchers in next hearing.
Nawaz Sharif said that analyze verdicts on his and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan cases to observe double standard of the judiciary. He said that he doesn’t know what damage he has done to the national treasure.
Former PM said that not taking salary from son was termed as his asset by judicial authorities. Imran Khan had confessed to doing transactions, he added.
