Leading business delegation calls on Romanian ambassador
ISLAMABAD, APR 03 (DNA) – Dean of Europe Emilian ION Ambassador of Romania has assured the business community of Pakistan that his country will extend fullest support to them in establishment of their businesses in Romania adding his country offered great incentives to foreign investors.
He expressed these views in a meeting with a delegation of leading businessmen from Rawalpindi and members of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry who called on him in his office on Sunday.
The Romanian ambassador further said being a leading and swelling economy of European Union, Romania was well poised to accommodate foreign investors in large numbers. Pakistani businessmen, he added, especially had bright prospects there as during his seven years tenure in Pakistan as ambassador, he had prepared ground for enhanced bilateral relations.
The ambassador assured the delegation his embassy would facilitate genuine and serious investors to their satisfaction. He and his business and visa team was ever ready to help those businessmen who earnestly wanted to go to Romania and set up enterprises there.
Emilian Ion further said Romania shall soon be a member of Schengen visa regime also which would greatly benefit those investors who had already establishes their businesses there.
The head of the delegation Khurshid Barlas assured the ambassador that they genuinely wanted to promote and strengthen business ties with Romania and he shall soon be leading a big delegation to Bucharest.
He also hinted at arranging Made in Pakistan expo in Bucharest in the coming days in order to introduce various Pakistani products in the Romanian markets. =DNA
