Lawyers reach Adiala Jail to meet Nawaz, Maryam, Captain Safdar
RAWALPINDI, (DNA) – Lawyers of Sharif family on Saturday have reached Adiala Jail to meet ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar.
According to details, counsels Khawaja Harris and Amjad Pervez were allowed to enter the jail premises after checking their names in the list.
Sources told that the lawyers will exchange views over the petition that was filed in Islamabad High Court (IHC) against Avenfield decision while they will also discuss the issue of transferring Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investments references.
Earlier, leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and members of Sharif family had meet Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz in Adiala Jail after their arrest.
A total of 15 people including Pervez Rasheed, Ayaz Sadiq, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz met the former PM.
