LAHORE, (DNA) – Former first lady Kulsoom Nawaz will be laid to rest today after her remains reached the provincial capital earlier on Friday.

Kulsoom breathed her last on Tuesday after a protracted battle with cancer. Brother-in-law Shehbaz Sharif, daughter Asma Nawaz, sons of Hussain Nawaz and other Sharif family members accompanied the body from London to Lahore on a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight.
