Kenyan envoy hosts farewell reception for outgoing South African colleague
ISLAMABAD, MAR 29(DNA)- High Commissioner of Kenya Julius Bitok hosted a farewell reception for the outgoing Ambassador of South Africa at the Kenya House.
Ambassador and High Commissioners from the African group and a select group of Pakistani dignitaries were invited to attend the farewell reception.
High Commissioner of Kenya in his brief remarks lauded the services of the outgoing South African ambassador who was also the Dean of the African group.
Mr. Julius Bitok said the South African High Commissioner contributed greatly towards promotion of bilateral relations adding even within the African group he was very much instrumental in gearing up group activities.
He further said the Ambassador Jele, because of his jolly type of nature and wit, was very much respected by his colleagues and friends.
The incoming Dean of the African group, Ambassador of Tunisia Adel Elarbi also recognized services of the outgoing ambassador and wished him best of luck in his future endeavors.
The incoming dean also presented a gift to the South African ambassador.=DNA
