Kazakhstan trade houses opened in China
BAKU, (DNA) – Trade houses of Kazakhstan opened in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Urumqi by private business, said Zhenis Kasymbek, the Kazakh Minister for Investments and Development.
“In China, there was organized a presentation of 40 Kazakh manufacturers. Kazakhstan’s trade houses in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Urumqi have been opened by private businesses, through which food products of domestic companies are sold,” the minister said.
He stressed to date, the volume of exports of processed products to China amounted to $2.5 billion, of which $123 million account for the export of finished products.
The supply of butter and dry mare’s milk was also launched to Honk Kong, he added.
In general, according to the minister, Kazakhstan ranks 52nd among the largest exporting countries. In total, more than 800 products of the manufacturing sector are exported to 113 countries. The country is the world leader in the supply of uranium, copper, titanium, ferroalloys, yellow phosphorus, flour, cottonseed oil, wheat, flax seeds.During the first nine months of 2017, exports of processed goods grew by 22 percent to $ 11.1 billion.
