ISLAMABAD, AUG 26 (DNA) – Azad Jammu Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan on Monday said that the war over the occupied Kashmir is not only for peace in Kashmir but in the entire region and the matter will be solved only by public revolution.

Addressing a seminar on the situation in occupied Kashmir, President Masood Khan expressed that one must first understand the real tragedy of occupied Kashmir. AJK President asserted that tens of thousands of people, including children has been arrested in IoK.

He expressed hope saying that for the first time, media around the world called India and Modi a terrorist. “We will not let Kashmir to become Hindutva nation”, he added.

Sardar Masood Khan continued saying that they won’t accept the mediation if Kashmir doesn’t get to be involved in it. He further thanked China expressing, “We are thankful to China who strongly kept security in the region”.

Speaking on the occasion, Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said that inaccessibility to information in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir has created a very serious problem. “Problems in occupied Jammu and Kashmir are so critical owing to communications blackout”. Doctors, nurses and hospitals are not being allowed to work in occupied Kashmir.” There has been a health emergency due to shortage of medicines”, he added.
