Local court judge probed for violence on 10-year-old domestic worker
ISLAMABAD, DEC 29, (DNA) – An additional sessions judge is being probed for alleged violence on his 10-year-old domestic worker.
According to details, police recovered the domestic servant from a house in Sector I-9 after receiving complains. A case was registered on Friday against Raja Khurram Ali Khan and his wife at the Industrial Area police station for torture and violence.
The FIR states that the judge and his wife had subjected her to torture for the last two years. In the latest spate of violence the domestic servant was beaten up for losing a broom.
The Islamabad High Court Chief Justice took notice of the incident and asked for a report over the incident in two days. The IHC registrar has summoned the judge for an inquiry he is conducting.=DNA
