JIT summons NAB chief Qamar Zaman Chaudhry: sources
ISLAMABAD, JUL 04 (DNA) – Sources have confirmed that the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), constituted in Panamagate has summoned NAB chief Qamar Zaman Chaudhry on Wednesday.
Earlier on Tuesday, it was Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s elder son Hussain Nawaz who appeared before the JIT for the sixth time.
The premier s son was interrogated for five hours in which the investigation team asked questions about the money trail and offshore accounts held by the Sharif family. The JIT has six days left to submit the final report to the Supreme Court of Pakistan, which is due on July 10.
“Even you (political opponents) will not escape by working against the constitution,” expressed Hussain Nawaz, following his appearance before JIT.
Hussain also questioned during his media talk as to how will they find evidence as there was no money laundering.
