JI’s anti-corruption train-march leaves for Rohri from Lahore

LAHORE, 26 MAY (DNA) – Anti-corruption train March of Jamaat-e-Islaami (JI) on Thursday left for Rohri from Lahore under JI chief Siraj-ul-Haq’s supervision. The train-march aiming to eliminate corruption from the country has entered into second phase as it has left for Rohri from Lahore.
The supporters have passionately participated in the march for combating corruption. While addressing party workers, Siraj said that the country’s existence is endangered because of the corrupt leaders, further stating that if an independent investigation commission is not formed to probe into the Panama Leaks issue then the people will hit the streets and head towards Islamabad.
He also demanded protection of women and minorities. Siraj-ul-Haq urged the government to hold unbiased probe into Panama leaks issue. Jamaat-e-Islami’s train march will reach Karachi on May 27. JI Ameer will address public gatherings on 51 train stations during the journey.
Earlier, the train march reached Lahore after passing from Rawalpindi, Wazirabad and Gujranwala. Jamaat-e-Islami workers gave a warm welcome to the train march at the Lahore Railway Station. DNA
