JI begins Ehtesab March from Data Darbar in Lahore
LAHORE, SEPT 11 (DNA) – Sirajul Haq, chief of the Jamaat-i-Islami, led the party’s Ehtesab March on Monday which set out from Data Darbar Lahore and is en route to Islamabad.
JI candidate from NA-120 Ziauddin Ansari, central secretary Liaquat Baloch and other leaders addressed the party workers in front of Data Darbar.
Party workers collectively prayed for the Ehtesab March’s success as Sirajul Haq departed from Mansoora to join the rally.
Talking to the participants, JI chief said that the Ehtesab March is for the prosperity of the nation and Pakistan. “Corrupt system and elite is ruling the country. We want the accountability of every person named in Panama Papers,” he asserted.
“Dr Asim went abroad. Zardari has been given a clean chit. This attitude of NAB shows that they will also provide a clean chit to Nawaz Sharif,” he pronounced.
Sirajul Haq said that Ishaq Dar should have resigned immediately after the reference was filed against him.
He asked all political parties to expel all such people from their parties who supported Pervez Musharraf. The JI chief vowed that they will fight against corruption on every level.=DNA
