Japan to provide technical, financial assistance to promote SMEs

ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Japan will provide technical and financial assistance to promote Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) for boosting export-oriented cottage industries of Sialkot.
It was stated by Economic Counsellor, Embassy of Japan in Pakistan Mr Yuji Tokita during his visit to Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He said that Japan is intending to boost mutual trade ties with Pakistan. He stressed the need for making collective efforts to further strengthen mutual trade ties between Pakistan and Japan.
The Japanese envoy said that strong Business-to-Business contacts would be promoted between both countries through the Pakistan-Japan Business Forum.
SCCI President Khawaja Masud Akhtar showed keen interest to have some MoUs between Tokyo, Osaka and SCCI for the promotion of mutual bilateral trade.
