Jahangir Tareen, Shah Mehmood exchange barbs

ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Two senior leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) namely Jahangir Tareen and Shah Mehmood Qureshi are apparently in a face off amid the party ticket issue.
While answering a question about cold war with Tareen, Shah Mehmood responded, “I have no competition with him as it exists in politics. There is no competition with a person who cannot contest elections and is not involved in any game.”
“Tareen is now out from the game and is not a part of it. Then why should I fight against him? I dare those behind the Banigala sit-in to come forward,” he asserted.
On the other hand, Jahangir Tareen said that he does not like to talk against anyone. “I have not watched the press conference of Qureshi and will only respond after viewing it. Shah Mehmood should eradicate the reservations of the workers and not accuse anyone,” he said.
Speaking in Lodhran, he went on to say, “I can neither receive any designation in PTI nor trying for it. I am only working as a worker in the party. The game is on and I am in the party. I greatly regret that South Punjab has faced injustice over the fixed seats of females. PTI has not forgotten its workers. We should have fairly distributed the tickets.”
