Iranian Navy commander welcomes Pakistani counterpart
Tehran, AUG 22: Admiral Mohammad Amjad Khan Niazi arrived in Tehran on Saturday and was officially welcomed by his Iranian counterpart Shahram Irani.
Admiral Niazi is in Tehran at the official invitation of Iranian Navy commander.
The two commanders discussed expansion of military relations, deepening ties in the sea, protection of regional security, and using military experienced in undertaking missions and safeguarding the two neighboring country’s national interests on the seas.
On the side line of the meeting, Iranian and Pakistani navy commanders paid tribute to the anonymous martyrs of the eight-year Holy Defense against Saddam’s army buried in the National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense and then made tour at the museum.
Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi is to make a visit Iran’s navy northern flotilla.
