Iranian FM Zarif meets COAS Gen. Bajwa

RAWALPINDI: Dr. Mohamad Javad Zarif, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army in GHQ, Rawalpindi.
Friendly relations and neighbourliness of the two countries, border and defense affairs, as well as peace and security in the region were discussed during the meeting
Following Dr. Zarif’s visit to Pakistan, he will meet with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A group of political and military officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the form of a diplomatic delegation, will accompany Dr. Zarif.
