ISLAMABAD, FEB 26 (DNA) – Iranian Air Force Commander Brigadier General Hassan Shahsafi, who is heading a high-profile delegation, arrived in Islamabad on Monday.

The air chief is visiting Pakistan upon the invitation of his Pakistani counterpart Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman.

The Iranian commander will also hold meetings with the high-ranking military officials during the visit.

Chief of Army Staff Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Iran last November upon the invitation of Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri.

Iranian and Pakistani Navy forces have long-standing bilateral cooperation.
