Iran embassy condemns killing of Pakistanis
ISLAMABAD, APR 13 /DNA/ – The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has strongly condemned the tragic killing of eight Pakistani nationals in Iran’s Sistan province. In a statement, the Embassy denounced the inhumane and cowardly armed attack, calling it a heinous act of terrorism.
“Terrorism remains a persistent scourge and a shared threat across the region,” the statement read. “Traitorous elements, often in collaboration with international terrorist networks, continue to undermine regional peace and stability.”
The Embassy emphasized that combating terrorism and extremism requires a unified, collective effort from all countries in the region. The ongoing toll of these violent acts has claimed the lives of thousands of innocent people in recent decades.
The Iranian Embassy’s condemnation of the killings has been well-received in Pakistan, with many citizens and analysts affirming that such terrorist attacks will not shake the foundations of the strong Pak-Iran friendship. The relationship between the two nations is deeply rooted in shared borders, religious and cultural affinities, and a mutual commitment to regional stability.=DNA
