IPC, PSB failed to implement NIRC orders
ISLAMABAD, MAR 17 (DNA) – Despite several months of National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) orders, the ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) and Pakistan Sports Board has failed to recovered rupee millions of additional allowances from the officers.
According to available details, the National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) issued a ruling in June last year against the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) decision to grant 20% additional allowance to the PSB finance and accounts officers and directed Pakistan Sports Board to Immediately stopping the process of granting 20% additional allowance to the Accounts Officer.
The additional allowances given to these officers from the National Treasury from the year 2014 to 2019 will also be withdrawn and should be recovered but PSB has pressed the matter on the Inter-Provincial Coordination intention and still there is also no redistribution of millions of allowances from the national treasury illegally.
The PSB officers who are getting these unlawful benefits including Sheikh Ismail, Vijay Kumar, Ataullah, Mohammad Usman, Abdul Majeed, Rafiq Ahmed Pirzada, Raja Gazhanfar other officers. When contacted, Pakistan Sports Board Spokesman Azam Dar said that the decision was made to give these additional allowances to PSB Finance and Accounts officers on the decision of PSB Executive Committee meeting which held in the year 2014, but Pakistan Sports Board is taking steps and the process has began to implement the judicial order.
